Technical Executive (Hydrography Survey) | You will be part of the team conducting hydrographic surveys in Singapore waters and processing the data generated. Training will be provided. |
Technical Executive (Cartographic) | You will be part of the team of maritime professionals whose responsibilities are to ensure safe navigation in Singapore waters by producing and maintaining nautical charts, electronic navigational charts and chartlets. Training will be provided. |
Assistant Hydrographer | You will supervise a team of Hydrographic Survey officers, including the planning and deployment of survey teams and provide technical advice on strategic hydrographic survey matters. You will also promote Singapore’s interests at international Hydrographic fora. |
Marine Investigator | You will report to the Shipping Division (Maritime Investigation Department) and be part of a team of marine professionals whose key purpose is to conduct inquiries on marine casualties and incidents under the Merchant Shipping Act (Cap. 179). The inquiries seek to determine the cause of the casualty, including any infringements of the provisions under the Merchant Shipping Act. |
Examiner (Seafarers Skills Upgrading, Certification and Accreditation) | You will be part of a team of marine professionals who are overseeing Standards of Singapore Maritime, Education and Training, Certification of seafarers, Accreditation of maritime training courses or programmes as well as upgrading of seafarers skillset and competences with emerging technologies being deployed onboard ships. |
Vessel Traffic Officer | You will be part of the vibrant and dynamic team of Vessel Traffic Information System officers, advising vessels in our busy strait on their movement to ensure they are safe. Other duties include distress watch keeping and attending to marine incidents. |
